This German quality high-performance KURMA BLACK Grip yoga mat is a seriously heavyweight, thick, wider mat for dedicated practitioners of yoga.
It's big to carry around with you, so its ideal as a premium fixture in your yoga space. But be warned, you won't want to get off it! The KURMA BLACK was the first Yoga mat of KURMA-Quality and was developed in the mid nineties. Versions of this mat are now sold worldwide as an expensive branded product. Here, however, you can purchase the unbranded original at a considerably lower rate.
This deluxe mat offers the best grip and stability for standing poses or back-bends and effective cushioning for sitting or supine poses. Headstand can be practised at ease without extra blankets and it folds into a neck relieving platform for shoulder stand.

This KURMA BLACK yoga mat is amazing! Really heavy duty - not ideal for carrying round, but I use it for my yoga room at home, and it just keeps going - I don't think it'll ever wear out. The grip is amazing, although it did take a few weeks to wear in. Much better value than what is essentially the same mat you see with top-end branding elsewhere!
