Return & Refund Policy
This policy sets out the returns policy for goods or services purchased through the online store operated by Yoga United Ltd.
RETURNS
DAMAGED or INCORRECTLY SHIPPED GOODS
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, and it must be in the original packaging.
If a product arrives damaged or is has been incorrectly shipped by Yoga United Ltd in any way, please contact us within 14 days of shipment and we will arrange for a replacement or refund according to your preference.
If the item you purchased was faulty or did not work properly, or you think the item was not as described in the item description on the website, please contact us within 14 days, and we will either replace it, try to resolve the issue, or issue a full refund.
Usually we will supply a return carrier label unless it is a small item that can be sent by post with the Royal Mail. In most cases we will refund the item and the carriage unless the goods are returned in an unsatisfactory condition for resale.
INCORRECTLY ORDERED GOODS or I HAVE CHANGED MY MIND
If goods have been ordered incorrectly by you or you change your mind and you do not want the products for any reason, we must be emailed at office@yogaunited.com within 14 days, after the date of delivery. The products will need to be returned subject to authorisation from Yoga United in pristine unused condition in their original packaging. Any items that have clearly been used WILL NOT be refunded even if they are returned to us.
You are entitled to a refund of the original purchase price for the goods or services you wish to return, not including the original postage and packaging charges made. Return carriage is to be paid for by the customer and the original shipping fee WILL NOT be refunded. The postal and insurance of your returned item is your responsibility. Please ensure that you retain proof of postage when sending your parcel back to us as we cannot be responsible for products that do not arrive back with us.
If the carrier company attempt to deliver an item and leave a "while you were out" card and the buyer fails to collect the item from the carrier's depot or fails to arrange for a re-delivery or if available an alternative local collection shop or store and the goods are returned to us at a later date, we will only refund the cost of the goods and the original shipping fee paid WILL NOT be refunded. Where carriers charge a "return to sender fee", we reserve the right to deduct this fee from the your product refund total.
NON PHYSICAL PRODUCTS (EG COURSES & HOLIDAYS)
To obtain a refund for a non-physical product please contact us for further information about whether this is possible. Deposits for courses and holidays are non-refundable.
PRODUCTS THAT CANNOT BE RETURNED
For Health and Safety reasons, products such as eye pillows, toe socks and neti pots which are sealed for hygiene reasons or used on open parts of the body, cannot be returned. If the bag seal has been opened we cannot accept them back A note about yoga mats, blocks, bricks: for health and safety reasons - once the packaging has been removed, it is not possible to exchange or refund this product.
The only reason we will accept any of these products as returns is if they are faulty or the wrong item has been shipped.
Some other types of services cannot be returned for a refund, for example where the service begins as soon as you make the payment (e.g. a downloadable software product) or a gift card or gift wrapping service
PAPERWORK REQUIRED WHEN RETURNING AN ITEM
Please include either a copy of your orginial order or your full name, address and orginal order number with the returned goods, contact details, and a note clearly stating your reason for return and instructions to us. If these are not supplied with the returned items, our team will be unable to trace the buyer to process the return, which can result in a delay to your refund. You are responsible for the safe arrival of returned goods – we cannot issue refunds or exchanges for items that don’t make it back to us
EXCHANGES
If you wish to exchange a purchase you have made, please contact us within 14 days after the date of delivery. You are entitled to receive an alternative product of the same value, or of a lesser value with a refund of the difference from the original purchase price. This does not include the original postage and packaging charges. If you wish to exchange for an item of a greater value, then we will contact you for the remaining balance before we ship the exchange order. You will not be entitled to a refund of the cost you incur in returning the item to us.
REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected we'll contact you to let you know whether your refund will be processed or not, and credit your original method of payment within 14 days of receiving the return, (although often more quickly)
If you haven't received a refund yet where we have told you we have issued one, please check your bank account or card statement to make sure it hasn't been received and then contact your bank as some banks or card companies take a number of days to credit your account.
If an item you purchased was purchased with a discount voucher, then we will only refund the amount that you paid (and not the amount the item was listed for).
If an item you purchased was in a sale then it may not be eligible for a refund if you have changed your mind. If you are in any doubt please contact us before making the purchase.
International Deliveries In the very rare case, that you have paid customs and duty charges and the parcel is subsquently lost, we will refund the cost of the item plus the delivery charge you paid us. We WILL NOT refund any customs and duty charges you have paid.
If for any reason, the delivery is delayed and you have changed your mind, and you refuse delivery or return the parcel to us at your cost, and you have paid customs and duty charges, we will refund the cost of the item only. We WILL NOT refund the delivery charge you paid us, the cost of returning the parcel to us or any customs and duty charges you have paid.
