Rudraksha Mala Beads & gift bag by Yogamalai
108 Traditional Rudraksha mala beads with a gift bag We have sourced these traditional 108 bead malas from the Ramakrishna Math in Chennai, as we particularly like the spirit in which they were made. Used in meditation, you count your way along the 108 beads inhaling and exhaling on each bead, and then switch back the other way. Each mala comes in a small OM gift bag The Ramakrishna Mission statement is ‘For one’s own salvation, and for the welfare of the world’. Sri Ramakrishna Math, Chennai, has a long history of over a hundred years of service to society - whether it be educating students at a school, nursing patients in a medical facility or serving in the temple or kitchen or garden—all are considered different forms of a single act of worship.
