NAVIGATING LIFE CHANGE with YOUR YOGA Date: 30 September 2019 at 19.30-21.30 “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” Viktor Frankl A workshop with Michael Lee, internationally acclaimed writer and educator, and founder of Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy- see more about Michael below. Our education does not generally prepare us well for handling change. And the change we experience in all aspects of life today is roughly ten times what it was just 30 years ago. Stress and anxiety are on the rise and may be at the root of many of the so-called “lifestyle disorders” we experience. Open to all – you do not need yoga experience to join – In this experiential workshop you will learn a yoga-based, body-mind process for navigating life when faced with difficult issues or crises. These can occur in work, relationships, finances, health, and many other aspects of life where effective strategies for change are demanded. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to engage this process and apply it. About Michael Lee, M.A., Dip.Soc.Sci., C-IAYT, is the Founder of Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, a leading edge yoga based modality for psycho-emotional well-being and life transformation and is an IAYT Accredited Yoga Therapy Training Program.
